Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Thursday’s downturn in the market didn’t do Sykes or TIMalert subscribers any favors. Nonetheless, most subscribers still walked away with a profit if they played Americas Energy Company (AENY). As mentioned in the TIMalert at midnight, Sykes doesn’t have much patience, and if a stock doesn’t react in the way that Sykes had anticipated, he exits. With a mental stop loss in place, he knows when to get out. Sure, he might leave money on the table, but more often than not, given the risks that penny stocks present, Sykes executes his game plan, even if it is conservative.
As we close out the week, my midnight TIMalert provided some opportunities for today and the near horizon. Americas Energy Company (AENY) represented a great speculative position, and Tim’s execution was flawless. The market dictated this stock’s breakout potential, Tim recognized the flaw, and exited.
Eight other potential plays were mentioned in my newest watch list.
Team Telecom International Ltd (TTIL) debuted on TIMalerts. Sykes is keeping his eye on this one. This stock surged this morning but is experiencing a late afternoon fade. If it holds 2 to close out the day, I expect that Tim will have plenty to say about next week’s potential.
After great plays on Imaging3, Inc. (IMGG) this week, Tim is staying away for the time being. It may be worth noting that IMGG has had a strong Friday rally. Maybe Tim isn’t done with this one just yet.
Finally, I’d be hard pressed not to mention the CRAZY surge of Netlist, Inc (NLST) this afternoon. If you remember, this is the same company that Tim was shorting and covering just a few days ago! Some of you may have even made the brilliant play of buying after the second cover. Netlist, Inc (NLST) is now up over $3/share from where Tim was trading. In the TIMalert, Sykes mentioned the surge into the $5’s with the shorts being squeezed out. Tim’s cover was more of a buy signal, and he even predicted that this could get back to the $7’s in range of previous 52 week highs. How right you are Tim! And congrats to Deleela for her overnight hold!
On tap for next week:
On Monday, I’ll provide the TIMalert Subscribers Weekly Performance for Week 3 November
Throughout the week, I’ll continue charting out of all of Tim’s trades, helping you visualize his TIMalert to become a better trader and identify chart patterns as identified in his DVDs.
I’ll also have a new Chart up to show you TIM’s performance (the original $12,415) account against another major index.
